Critics’ Reviews

Komal Nahta
The scriptwriters make the story intriguing with plenty of unexpected turns to keep the audience engaged. The story moves so fast that there is not much time for you to lose focus. Overall, Raid 2 continues the legacy of these films by offering excellent entertainment for the audience.

Shubhra | Rating: 2.0/5
The sets are elaborate, the speech is overdone and the music keeps repeating, so I had a feeling I had seen it before in the first act. Even with all the disagreements between the actors, Karma lower a film’s quality to a dull degree.

SANA | Rating: 2.5/5
While the first part is disappointing, at the climax the film becomes slightly better. Unlike the intense acts we saw in his previous films, this seems to be a weaker sequel, missing many of the older film’s depth.

Renuka Vyavahare | Rating: 3.0/5
The actor looks great as a courageous hero, but the comedy is not highlighted enough. Though the film mixes drama and comedy, it becomes very serious and closely follows the theme of the story.

Devesh | Rating: 2.5/5
Raid 2 tries to outdo its predecessor on every front but barring a few moments, doesn’t turn out to be the superior product. The original was more taut and engaging but Raj Kumar Gupta hasn’t really made as gripping a product as Raid.

Rating: 3.0/5
A watchable film, particularly for fans of the original “Raid” and Ajay Devgn’s performance. However, it falls short of its predecessor in terms of pacing, plot, and overall impact, making it a mixed bag for audiences.

Chirag Sehgal | Rating: 3.0/5
When Devgn meets Deshmukh, their verbal battles are truly captivating to watch. The film’s best qualities come from the exciting raid scenes shared by the two main characters.

Final Verdict
Raid 2 delivers a tense, dialogue-driven thriller with standout performances, particularly from its leads. However, uneven pacing and a lack of freshness hold it back from matching its predecessor’s impact. For fans of gritty dramas, it’s a decent watch—but don’t expect groundbreaking brilliance.
